Betty’s children Judie, Margaret, Patrick, Betty, Alice, Tom, Mary, Bernie, Jack, Paula, Marie & their families would like to express their heartfelt thanks for sympathy & support shown to them throughout Betty’s funeral & during the time since.
Thank you to everyone who visited our home, those who attended Betty’s removal, funeral Mass & burial & all those who sent Mass cards, letters, texts & warm wishes online. Thank you also to all those who couldn’t be present but joined in the celebration of Betty’s life via webcam & those who donated generously to the Wexford Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Betty’s memory:
Thank you to Dr. Siobhan McCabe & her team at Sheltonville Surgery for their great care over recent years. Our heartfelt thanks to the Arklow Gardaí & the Ambulance Crew for their assistance & kindness on the night Betty passed away.
Special thanks to Fr. Michael Murphy for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass, to Fr. Martin Jose for his prayers, to the sacristy team at St. Joseph’s Church & to Karla Tracey & Bridget Kenny for such lovely music.
Thanks also to the management & staff of the Arklow Bay Hotel for their hospitality, to Jason & Tom for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney and Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Betty’s Month’s Mind Mass together with her son Jimmy’s Birthday Remembrance will be celebrated on Saturday 1st March at 7pm in St. Joseph’s Church. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam;
