Acknowledgement
The family of the late Elizabeth (Betty) Power (nee Cushen) Marley, wish to express our
heartfelt gratitude for the support and sympathy shown to us following her recent passing.
To everyone who attended Betty’s wake, Funeral Mass, burial or a message of condolence,
your sympathy and kindness will always be remembered.
We would like to thank Fr.. Aughney for a beautiful Funeral Mass. Dr. Byrne and Cathy were
always at hand when Betty needed them. They looked after her since she moved home in
June 2024. Many thanks to all the staff at Kissane's Pharmacy, Graiguenamanagh, you were
always so helpful. We are so grateful to the Carlow/Kilkenny palliative care team who
enabled Betty to have a peaceful passing.
A heartfelt thank you to Hugh Byrne Funeral Directors and all the grave diggers for your
invaluable help and professionalism throughout all the arrangements. Thank you to Celina
Byrne and her staff for a lovely meal that you prepared for us after the Funeral.
The biggest thank you of all to our extended family, friends and neighbours who called to
see us, offered support and to all who travelled from near or far to attend the Funeral - we
are so forever grateful we cannot thank you all enough.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this
acknowledgement as a token of our family’s gratitude.
