We the family of the late Elizabeth Halpenny, wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to all who sympathised with us on the recent passing of our beloved Mum, Grandmother and Sister.

Thank you to all the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital for their diligent care and compassion and a big thank you to all the carers from the HSE and Homestead, who  attended to Lily and looked after her so well, over the last couple of years

Thank you to everyone, from near and far, who called to the house, with Mass offerings, sympathy cards and flowers. To all those who telephoned, sent messages and attended the Funeral. We greatly appreciate your time, compassion and kindness. Thank you to those who telephoned, sent messages and attended the Funeral. We greatly appreciate your time, compassion and kindness.

Thank you to those who directed traffic, managed parking and provided lighting during the wake.

Thank you to Commins Butchers and our wonderful friends and neighbours who generously brought food and refreshments and to those who helped in the Kitchen/ served tea during the wake.

Sincere thanks to Magee’s Funeral Directors who showed such compassion at this difficult time, and for carrying out all their duties and the funeral in such a professional manner, and a big thanks to the singers for the beautiful music during Lily’s Mass.Thank you to Father Paul Clayton-Lea for attending the house, providing support and celebrating Lilly’s life with a beautiful funeral mass.

A big thanks to the Glyde Rangers for the use of the hall for refreshments after the Funeral.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as an acknowledgement of our heartfelt gratitude to all.

Lilly will be forever loved and dearly missed by all her family and friends.
