Lilly’s devoted husband and best friend Joe, her sisters Patricia and Pauline and all her family would like to extend their most heartfelt thanks for the many expressions of sympathy and support shown at the time of Lilly’s sad passing and during the weeks since.
Thank you to everyone who visited the funeral home, attended Lilly’s Removal, Funeral Mass and burial, those who sent Mass cards and letters, those who shared happy memories and words of comfort online, those who phoned or wrote and all those who couldn’t be present but joined in the celebration of Lilly’s life via webcam.
Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Robert Foster and his team at Harbour Road Surgery and to the wonderful carers from the HSE who assisted in caring for Lilly in the home she loved. Thank you also to the kind and helpful staff of Adrian Dunne’s Pharmacy.
Very special thanks to Fr. Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for his friendship, prayers and gentle guidance throughout this most difficult time and for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass and to Karla Tracey and Bridget Kenny for such wonderful music.
To our extended family, our neighbours and friends, we will be forever grateful for your continued support and kindness.
Thank you to the management and staff of the Arklow Bay Hotel for their hospitality after the funeral, to Jason and Tom for tending to the grave and to all at John Sweeney and Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Lilly’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 26th January at 11.30am in Saints Mary and Peter’s Church. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam;
