The family of the late Elizabeth (Liz) Clare would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the kindness, compassion & support shown to us during our recent sad loss.
Very special thanks to those of you who were in a position to come & pay your respects & equally to those of you who stayed away but kept us in your thoughts & prayers, to all who joined in the celebration of Liz’s funeral Mass via the parish webcam, to all who sent Mass cards & thoughtful messages of condolence & to all who donated generously to the Arklow Cancer Support Group in Liz’s memory.
Our sincere thanks to Dr. Foster & his team at Harbour Road Surgery, to the doctors, nurses & staff of St. Vincent’s University Hospital & to the staff of All Care Pharmacy for their assistance, kindness & care throughout Liz’s illness.
Thanks also to Liz’s home help Madeleine & to her dear friends Joanne & Mairead for their years of companionship & the kindness shown, most especially in recent years of ill-health. To Liz’s colleagues & friends from Tesco, we were so touched by your gesture of respect & affection. Liz would have been delighted & proud.
Heartfelt thanks to Fr. David Brough for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass & to Stephen Walker for his wonderful music.
Thanks also to Bill & Joe from RSS for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors for their kind & professional service.
As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
You are welcome to join in the celebration of Liz’s Month’s Mind Mass via the Arklow Parish Webcam on Sunday 31st May at 8.30am.
