Elizabeth’s son James, daughter-in-law Suzanne, grandchildren Ally and Tommy, her brothers Pat and Liam, sisters Bridget and Julie and all her family would like to thank, most sincerely, all those who offered kindness, comfort and support throughout Elizabeth’s funeral and during the time since.
Thank you to everyone who visited the funeral home, those who attended Elizabeth’s removal, funeral Mass and burial, to all those who sent Mass cards, floral tributes, letters and texts and those who shared kind condolences and happy memories online. Thank you also to those who travelled long distances and to those who couldn’t be present but joined us in celebrating Elizabeth’s funeral Mass on webcam.
Our heartfelt thanks to the kind and caring staff of The Marlay Nursing Home for their great care throughout Elizabeth’s stay. Thanks also to the staff of Duffy’s Pharmacy for their kindness and assistance over the years.
A very special thank you to Fr. Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for his friendship, prayers and guidance for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass and to Bri-Elle for her fabulous music – Elizabeth would have been so proud.
To our own extended families, our colleagues, neighbours and friends, we thank you for your continued support.
Thank you to the management and staff of The Old Ship for their hospitality, to Jason and Tom for tending to the grave and to all at John Sweeney and Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Elizabeth’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 28th February at 10am in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam;
