Ellen Hanlon (Babs), Hospital Road, Southknock, New Ross and Dagenham, Essex, England. Ellen’s sisters Bridget, Joan, Margaret, Sylvia and brother Pat and her extended family wish to express their most heartfelt thanks for the overwhelming kindness and support shown to us throughout Ellen’s funeral and in the weeks since, to our neighbours, friends, relations and to Ellen’s wonderful friends and neighbours, we thank you all very much.
Due to restrictions at the time, we equally would like to thank everyone that joined us through the Parish webcam, sent flowers, mass cards, sympathy cards, online messages and stood in doorways and streets for Ellen’s final journey to keep everyone safe.
A special thank you to Bridget McHugh for all the love, kindness and support she showed Ellen during her illness. We would also like to thank Doctors, nurses and staff in the Cherry Ward, Waterford University Hospital for the wonderful care Ellen received, Dr. Walsh’s, Nurse Bernie, her wonderful carers, Burke’s pharmacy, O’Neill’s shop, Southknock stores, Ambulance Service, for always being so kind and thoughtful.
Thank you also to Monsignor McGrath and Fr Thomas Orr for the lovely ceremony and to Stephen Murphy for the beautiful music. Thank you to Joanne Cooney and staff for their kind and professional service.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
