The Family of the late Ellen Brennan, Aclare wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on the death of our much loved mother, those who called to the house, attended the wake. funeral mass and interment. Thanks to all who left messages of sympathy  on RIP.ie, sent mass cards, floral tributes and letters of sympathy.

 

Sincere thanks to Fr Mark Townsend PP. who took care of Mam's spiritual needs at home. Prayers and Rosary during the wake. celebrating her funeral mass. A special thanks to Fr Seán Maher our neighbour for very touching eulogy and graveside prayers. and thanks to Fr Bernard Cushen and Fr Eddie Aughney. Thanks to the choir for their beautiful hymns and music.

 

Thanks to Doctors, Nurses and office staff of Graiguenamanagh Health Centre for all their kindness to mam every time she visited. A special thanks to Doctor Val Lonergan who cared for mam for many years with the greatest of kindness. Thanks to Doctor Scully who called to our home in Mam's final days and Nurse Mrs Liz Farrell for all her help and support.

 

Thanks to the homehelp team. Thanks to Helen ó Neill mam's house companion  whose care and support was exceptional. Thanks to Breda Hayes and staff for catering at the house. Thanks to catering staff in Abbey Hall for serving refreshments after the burial. Thanks to Hugh Byrne  Undertaker and Séamus Murphy for their kind  caring professionalism throughout the funeral.

 

Thanks to Blacks and Whites gaa for looking after parking facilities at the house. A special thanks to the gravediggers her Grandsons who prepared Granny's final resting place with great care and love. Thanks to all our neighbours, relations and friends who helped and supported us in so many ways and was much appreciated.

 

Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. 1st Anniversary Mass on Thursday 14th November 2024 at 10.00 am in Duiske Abbey Graiguenamanagh.
