The family of the late Ellen (Nellie) Daly who passed away peacefully on Monday the
25 th of August 2025, would like to thank everyone for their kind expressions of
sympathy during their recent bereavement. We offer our heartfelt thanks to many
relations, neighbours and friends who visited our home, attended the removal and
funeral mass. We are grateful for the many kind gestures received including mass
cards and online condolences.

To Conor Hughes and Darren for the professional and dignified manner in which
they carried out the funeral arrangements.
Special thanks to Fr Michael Daly PP for leading the celebration of Ellen’s funeral
Mass; to Brid McCabe for the very fitting and beautiful music, to Blackhill Emeralds
GFC for the Guard of Honour, to Shirley Arms for the lovely meal after the funeral.
Special thanks also to Dr Michael Clarke and staff and to Kieran Conway Pharmacist
for their care to Ellen.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this
acknowledgement as a token of our deep appreciation.

Ellen’s Months Memory Mass will be celebrated in St Patrick’s Church, Broomfield
on Sunday the 28 th of September at 11:30am.
