As we remember our beloved Eric on this, his first anniversary away from us, his wife Daphne and children Brian, Darren and Lara along with his father Eric Snr and sisters Jackie and Suzanne wish to extend their thanks to relatives, neighbours, friends and colleagues for their love and support at such a sad time.
Sincere thank you to everyone who came, from near and far, to attend Eric’s removal, funeral mass and burial and to all who sent flowers, mass cards and messages offering condolence. Thank you to all who phoned, called to our home and to everyone who brought food and refreshments, every kindness was noticed and appreciated.
To all Eric’s friends and work family in Janssen, we can’t thank you enough for the extraordinary kindness and support you have offered us throughout his illness and since his passing. All the stories and memories you have shared with us have brought great comfort and lifted our spirits through the past year. The amount of charitable work you have undertaken to raise funds for Marymount in Eric’s name is a beautiful tribute that he would be very proud of, from our hearts we thank you.
To all who have called to visit or reached out to us in the last year as we navigate our loss, your support and kindness is truly appreciated.
Thank you to all the medical staff who looked after Eric throughout his illness and sincere thanks to all at Marymount Hospice, your kindness and compassion in Eric’s final days will never be forgotten.
The holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for all your intentions.
To remember Eric we will be attending a walk on Mount Brandon in aid of Marymount, thank you most sincerely to all at Janssen for organising such a wonderful way to mark his first anniversary.
Hymne A L'Amour
" Si un jour , la vie t'arrache à moi
Si tu meurs, que tu sois loin de moi
Peu m'importe si tu m'aimes
Car moi je mourrais aussi
Nous aurons pour nous l'éternité
Dans le bleu de toute l'immensité
Dans le ciel, plus de problème
Mon Amour, crois-tu qu'on s'aime?
Dieu réunit ceux qui s'aiment "
RIP
