ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & FIRST ANNIVERSARY ​​

On the first anniversary of Evelyn's passing, her heartbroken children Amanda, Marc and Gavin, her brothers and sister, and all her family wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to our extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

We are deeply thankful to everyone who sympathised with us, sent mass cards and perpetual enrolments, and shared condolences. Your kindness and support meant so much. We also appreciate all who attended Evelyn's rosary and funeral mass.

 

Our heartfelt thanks to Evelyn's wonderful colleagues at Marymount. We cannot thank you enough for the exceptional care, respect and dignity with which you treated Evelyn. You went above and beyond not only caring for Evelyn, but supporting all of us through an incredibly difficult time. We will forever be grateful for the compassion and care that you showed Evelyn and our family. 

 

We are especially grateful to Evelyn's GP, Dr Pat Hill, for the dedicated care and concern shown to Evelyn throughout her illness. Thank you for the many phone calls, and for your continued support, even in the weeks after Evelyn's passing. 

 

We would also like to express our gratitude to Fr John Walsh for celebrating such a beautiful and personal funeral mass. A special thank you to the soloist and to the piper who so poignantly led Evelyn on her final journey. 

 

Our sincere thanks to Coughlans Funeral Home, especially Joe, Grace and David for the professional yet deeply personal way in which they arranged Evelyn's funeral. We are truly grateful for the care and guidance you provided. 

 

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledge as a token of our sincere appreciation.

 

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Of all the gifts of life, however great or small to have you as our mother was the greatest gift of all

Because you were so special, no words could ever say, how much we love and miss you, today and every day.
