As the family of the late Evelyn Woods, Newtown, Monasterboice, who passed away on 4th September, we would like to express sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss. We greatly appreciate the calls, messages and condolences received.

Sincere thanks to Dr. MacMahon, Dr. Hoey and the team at 47 Fair Street, Dr. Basit, Dr. Counihan and their teams, as well as the Palliative Care Team, all in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Thanks also to Mandy, Emma, Cathy & Gemma at Connected Health, for the care and kindness shown to Evelyn over the last few years.

Thank you to Townley’s Funeral Home for their empathy and professionalism, Fr. Paddy Rushe for a very meaningful & personal funeral Mass, and Gráinne Diskin, Liam Reilly, Tim O’Connell, Nicola Daniels & members of the choir & orchestra at Our Lady’s College, Greenhills, for the beautiful music, all of which gave Evelyn such a personal and fitting tribute.

Thank you to neighbours and friends from Monasterboice & Collon, particularly Podge and Fidelma O’Hare, for their friendship, care and support over the years.

As it is impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our heartfelt appreciation.  Evelyn will be deeply and sadly missed and will always be remembered.
