As we lovingly remember Fiona on her first anniversary, we her family and partner Michael wish to express our sincere gratitude to everyone for their sympathies and support on our heartbreaking loss.
Thank you to all the people who sent mass cards, sympathy cards and expressed their condolences online. A special thanks to Fiona’s friends and neighbours who lined the route from Rathnagrew to the church in Knockananna, it was a beautiful tribute to Fiona. To those who stood outside the church and at the burial in line with covid restrictions. To all our friends and relatives who joined us via webcam, we thank you for your support. Thank you to all the communities for the display of candles and flowers in various areas, we were truly grateful to all.
Thanks to Fr Terence McGovern and Fr Seamus Whitney for their kindness and beautiful funeral mass.
To Halligan Funeral Directors for the professional guidance and dignified manner in which you carried out the funeral arrangements.
Special thanks to Hacketstown Fire Brigade, paramedics, doctor and gardai for their help and support on the day and afterwards.
Fiona’s anniversary mass is Sunday 11th April at 11 o clock, from St. Bridgets Church, Hacketstown via webcam.
The holy sacrifice of the mass has been offered for all your intentions.
A daughter, Sister, Auntie, and partner too
We all thought the world of you
You left us quietly without a fuss
And broke the hearts of all of us.
