Florence’s daughters Mary & Pauline, brothers Stephen & Eamonn, sister Kitty & all her family wish to extend our heartfelt thanks for the many expressions of sympathy & support we received throughout Florence’s illness, at the time of her sad passing & in the weeks since.
Thank you to all those who visited the funeral home, attended the removal, funeral Mass & burial, sent Mass cards & floral tributes, those who phoned, sent letters, cards or shared kind messages online & those who travelled long distances to show support.
Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital, most especially Dr. Horgan & all those in the Mary Aikenhead Suite & to Dr McCabe, Dr Buggle & Dr Doyle & their team at Sheltonville Surgery, Arklow for their compassion & great care. Thank you also to Niamh & all her staff at Adrian Dunne Pharmacy for all their assistance over the years.
To our extended families, neighbours, colleagues & friends, we thank you. Most especially we thank our Abbeyville family, in particular neighbours Joanie & Tony O’Farrell & Bridget & Mary along with Florence’s lifelong friend Rose & all the Grehan family.
Thanks to Fr David Brough for his comforting guidance & beautiful funeral Mass & to Michael Flood & Trish Kavanagh for their fabulous music.
Thanks also to Joe O’Toole & R.S.S. for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. Florence’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 13th February at 11.30am & those who cannot attend are welcome to join via the parish webcam
