Acknowledgement & First Anniversary

Fr. Eddie Collins – Clonakilty – Died 5th January 2020

A sincere thank you to all who supported and celebrated Fr. Eddie in his life and his passing to eternal life. 

We, his family, wish to warmly thank everyone who supported us with your prayers and presence during our heart-breaking loss. 

A special thanks to all the clubs, societies and associations in the different parishes that Fr. Eddie was involved in, and after who showed your appreciation by your presence: to all who sent Mass Cards, letters of sympathy and to those who travelled long distances. 

To the medical staff, carers and neighbours who lovingly cared for Fr. Eddie during his illness: your warmth, professionalism and kindness was a great source of comfort to us, his family. 

We will never forget the kindness of his parishioners and all those who contributed to making the funeral services a truly special celebration of his life.  Our thanks to Foley Funeral Directors, Clonakilty & Timoleague, for their exceptional guidance and professionalism. 

We would like to express our thanks to all his fellow priests, Monsignor Aidan & Fr. Kamil of Clonakilty Parish, and to Bishop Fintan who celebrated his funeral Mass, and also his care for him during his illness. 

As we would like to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation to you all. 

The sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
