Fr. Patrick (Pat) Farrelly

The family of the late Fr Pat Farrelly would like to express our deepest appreciation

for everyone's sympathy as we mourn his loss. 

We would like to especially thank Bishop Martin Hayes, Bishop Emeritus Leo O'Reilly,

and all of Fr Pat's brother priests in the Diocese of Kilmore.

 A special word of thanks to all Pat's extended family and friends who visited and supported him

during the final chapter of his Life.   

Thanks also to the people of Knockbride, Lavey, Kildallan and Ballaghameehan/Kiltyclogher

where Fr Pat spent many happy years. 

 

We very much appreciate the great care he received in Cavan General Hospital and in St. Joseph's Lisdarn.

Sincere thanks to Fr Andrew Tully and Fr Paul Casey and to Bishop Hayes

for celebrating his funeral liturgy. 

Pat's funeral was memorable and a fitting tribute to his life as a priest and previously as a chef.
We wish to thank the undertaker, Peter Duffy, the church choir, sacristan,

and all who helped in the house and church during the funeral days.

               We wish to thank all who sent condolences, Mass cards, sympathy cards and donated towards the Irish Cancer Society, €1,000 was forwarded in Fr. Pat's memory.

Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
