The family of the late Frances Sharpe wish to express their sincere thanks to the many people who sympathised with them during their recent sad loss.

We thank everyone who turned out in such great numbers to attend the funeral and celebrate her life, for the beautiful flowers, the many expressions of sympathy and support and for the many kind words and stories you shared with us.

Thank you to the many ladies who provided friendship and loving care to Frances during her initial years of illness at home.

We extend a special word of thanks to Andrea, Oonagh and Jimmy Tyrrell and all the wonderful, caring staff at Asgard Lodge Nursing Home for the kindness and exceptional care shown to Frances and all her family throughout her time there.

Special thanks to Canon Nigel Sherwood for his kind words, prayers, support and guidance to Frances and her family over the many years.

Thank you to Archdeacon Ruth Elmes for her comforting prayers during the service. Thank you to John Keogh, Rosarie Kinsella and the talented Elaine Kearon, all of whose music brought such beauty and meaning to the funeral service.

Thank you also to all at St Brigid’s Church, Kilbride for their kindness and help, to the team at Bradshaw Lane Surgery for their care for Frances and to the management and staff of the Arklow Bay Hotel for their hospitality after the service.  We also thank Niamh and everyone at Sweeney Funeral Directors for their support at this difficult time.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation.
