The family of the late Francis (Frank) Hughes of Grange, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary who died on 10/2/2022 would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their great loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many relatives, colleagues, friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited our home, attended the wake, service and burial and provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent cards and messages of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations, we are truly grateful.

A special word of thanks to those who travelled long distances to be at the wake or services (e.g. Mayo, Belfast, Cork, Dublin, London).

Also special thanks to the staff of South Tipperary General Hospital who looked after Frank in his last few days including the chaplain Father Dayo. A special thanks to Father Michael Twomey for arranging the service and presiding at the funeral mass and for the beautiful music & singing from Andrea Ruth Houlihan.

To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.

The family is also very appreciative of the work carried out by Fennessy & Son Funeral Directors whose professionalism greatly eased the burden on the family.
