The family of the late Fr. Joe Noonan, Adare, Co. Limerick, and formerly of Ballyelan, Ballingarry, who died on October 8th 2022 would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their great loss.

 

A special word of thanks to Bishop Brendan Leahy, Bishop Emeritus Dónal Murray, Canon John O’Shea and Fr. Chris O’Donnell for their support. We are extremely grateful to Fr. Joe’s colleagues who attended evening prayer and his funeral Mass.  We thank his very kind neighbours and friends for their support and generosity. We appreciate the guards of honour formed by the staff and students of St. Munchin’s College, Corbally, and Our Lady’s Abbey, St. Joseph’s and Shountrade National Schools, Adare.

 

We acknowledge the care and medical attention given to Fr. Joe by Dr John O’Brien, Doon, Co. Limerick. We wish to express our sincere gratitude to Mgr. Dan Neenan, the staff and choir of Holy Trinity Abbey, Adare.

 

We acknowledge also the many people who sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy and messages of condolence.  We wish to express our thanks to the management and staff of Woodlands hotel Adare for their warm welcome and hospitality after the funeral.

 

A sincere word of thanks to O’Grady Funeral Directors, Ballingarry, for their sensitive and professional handling of all arrangements.
