We, (Anne, Mark, Glen, Tara and Amy and extended families) would like to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathized with us, attended the funeral, travelled, sent online, text and phone messages and cards on hearing of the death of Gay on June 30th after a long illness.

Thanks to the doctors, nurses, health care workers and catering staff in the Galway Clinic for the care given to Gay. Likewise, to Galway Hospice and Cancer Care West for their kindness to us all.  To his GP Dr. Brian Higgins (Galway Primary Care) and Haven Pharmacy for their ongoing support.

Thank you to Mon. P.  Rabbitte for the beautiful Service and to  Fr. Des Ford for receiving Gay’s remains at Shannon Crematorium and to their staff.

To Ailbhe Hession for the beautiful music in the Church.  Our thanks to Willie and Cathriona of O’ Flaherty Funeral Directors for helping us through a very difficult time with such compassion and to the Connacht Hotel for their hospitality.
