We wish to thank all those who have shown us immeasurable love and kindness during this time. Forever grateful for the care and compassion shared by the staff of Mayo University Hospital and University Hospital Galway.

To all those who joined us at Mass, online and sympathised at the removal, your presence was greatly appreciated. We are heartened and moved by all the Mass cards, letters, phone calls, messages, condolences on RIP.ie and Midwest. They provide much comfort and solace and reflect Dad’s nature in the nicest way.

A very special thank you to Fr. Costello, Fr. Gavigan, Fr. Judge, Fr. Dan O’Mahony, Fr. Stephen O’Mahony, Fr. Davey, Fr. Caufield, Fr. Doherty and Fr. Lynch for a beautiful ceremony. Thanks to Michael Clarke and David McDermott, Clarke's Funeral Directors, Maria McHugh and Bernadette Ruddy, Stephen Doherty and David Doocey for the lovely music. To our neighbours, friends, Foxford family, Moy Davitts and wider community, Gabriel’s endearing smile, kind companionship and unwavering faith will forever be felt through you.

We, the family of the late Gabriel Ó Láimhín, wife Finola, daughters Máire, Finola Óg, Thérèse and son Gearóid, brothers, sisters and extended family, would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love, kindness, support and care shown to us following Gabriel’s sudden and untimely passing. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
