Our sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses & staff of Beaumont Hospital & St. Lukes Hospital for the comfort & care they brought throughout George’s illness, to the exceptional team at Wicklow Hospice where George spent his final days with his signature courage & to his friends from the Arklow Cancer Support Group. Thank you also to Dr. Coates & the team at Arklow Medical Practice & to Laura Armstrong & her staff at Armstrong Life Pharmacy.
Very special thanks to Rev. Kevin Conroy, Rev Nigel Sherwood & Rev. Arthur Barrett for the beautiful celebration of George’s life & to Stephen Adams for his organ music.
To our extended families, our wonderful neighbours, our colleagues & our friends, we will be forever grateful for the comfort & solace your love & support brought to us throughout this most difficult time.
Thank you also to the committee & members of Arklow Rugby Club for their hospitality, to Jason & Tom for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
