As we lovingly remember George on his first anniversary. His wife Mary, sons Ed, David and Ian, daughters Avril and Olivia, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law and grandchildren wish to thank all those who sympathised with us on the sad and unexpected loss of George.

Thank you to everyone who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, flowers, sent food to our homes and to all those who wrote lovely tributes online. Thank you to all who could not attend the funeral because of covid restrictions but stood outside the church and the graveyard to show your respect and to all who watched and listened online to George’s funeral service, we thank you so much.

Special thanks to Seanie Collins for the music at the graveside. Sincere thanks to the ambulance crew and staff at the cardiac unit in C.U.H. and to Jerh O’Connor and his staff for their professionalism and kindness. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude.
