As we lovingly remember Ger on his first anniversary, his wife Marie and children Conor, Orlaith and Caoimhe together with his parents, sister and brothers would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered sympathy and support throughout our sad loss.
Thank you to those who visited the funeral home, attended the funeral Mass and burial, those who sent cards, phoned, sent texts or shared kind messages of sympathy online and to those who couldn’t be present but joined us on webcam. Thanks also to those who donated generously to Marymount Hospice in Ger’s memory.
Our heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and caring staff of Marymount Hospice who brought such comfort and care to Ger’s final weeks.
Thank you to the clergy including Ger’s uncle Fr.Michael Mohally and his cousin Bishop Tom Deenihan for their prayers, guidance and the beautiful Funeral Mass.
To our own extended families, our relatives, neighbours, friends and work colleagues and Ger’s work colleagues in Carey Tool Hire, your kindness and support will never be forgotten.
Thanks also to the management and staff O Connors Funeral Directors for their professionalism and to Sarsfields Hurling club for their support and hospitality.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
Ger’s First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 17th November at 12 noon in Saint Joseph’s Church, Springhill, Glanmire.
We think of things you used to say, and all that you would do.
At some point, every single day, our thoughts will turn to you.
No matter how life changes, no matter what we do,
A special place within our hearts is always kept for you.
