The family of the late Gerald (Gerry) Lynch of Skeahorn, Clones would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their loss.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to all of the family circle, friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited our home, attended the wake, and who came together for Gerry's funeral service and burial. For the many more who telephoned, sent cards and messages of condolences, we are truly grateful.
A special word of thanks to our cousin, Kim McDonnell, who provided much appreciated guidance and support with the practical arrangements.
We also wish to thank everyone who participated on the day, including Fr.Corrigan, for his kind words and celebration of the mass; Karen McGurk and Patrick McDonnell for the readings and prayers; pall bearers Patrick McDonnell, Jonny McGurk, Walter Pringle & Kevin Gavin; Aiden McPhillips and his motorcycling comrades for their cavalcade; Genie McCaughey and accompanist for the beautiful hymns; Clones Boxing Club for their guard of honour; Fabiola Martin, funeral director, for her compassion and professionalism throughout and all others who were in attendance to ensure the smooth running of the mass and burial.
Thank you also to the staff of Drumbear Lodge for their gentle care in Gerald's final months.
To those who helped in any way, thank you. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
The Month's Mind Mass for Gerry will be held on the 2nd July at 11am in St Livinus' Chapel, Killeevan. All welcome.
