 Gerard (Gerry) Devlin

Granitefield, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

The family of the late Gerry Devlin of Granitefield, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin who died on the 13th of March 2025 would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their recent sudden loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends and well-wishers who visited our home, attended the Funeral Home, the Funeral Mass and Dad's burial. For the many telephone calls and texts, to those who travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences, we are truly grateful.

We are overwhelmed with the out pouring of love shown for Dad over the last number of weeks.

A special word of thanks to Fr. Robert from Our Lady of Victories Church in Sallynoggin who really gave Dad a beautiful send off. To the Paramedic team who attended Dad, to An Garda Siochana, especially Paul and John. To Stephen Collier and all at Colliers Funeral Directors for their kindness, support and gentle guidance after Dad died. To everyone at The Rochestown Lodge Hotel, especially Robert, Ciaran, Debbie and all the staff who looked after us so well after the funeral.

To those of you who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.

Gearóid, Ruairí Eoin, Eilísh, Agnes and all of our family.

You can shed a tear that he is gone

Or you can smile because he has lived
