Gerard's son James Daughters Annamarie, Janet, Georgina, Geraldine and Ger's Brother Eamon, Sisters Teasie, Carmel, Nuala and Anna, wish to thank all who sympathised with them on their sad loss those who came from near and far to the church and burial and sent mass/sympathy cards and floral tributes and lovely condolences on Rip.ie and facebook and viewed his funeral mass online.
We know that many of you would have liked to attend Gerry's funeral but due to restrictions this was not possible. It was heartening to see so many of our Wonderful neighbours and friends standing outside our home and on the roadside and outside their businesses paying their respects, as we travelled with Gerry on his final journey.Thanks to Gerry's lifelong friends for the guard of honour it means alot.
To our wonderful neighbours extended family, Employers, workmates, and friends for all your floral tributes and thoughtfulness shown to us at this time, to all who brought refreshments to our home we thank you for your generousity.
Thanks to Fr. Sean Heaney and Fr. Luke Ohiemi for all your prayers and blessings for Gerry.
Our gratitude to Drs and Nurses and staff of A & E and ICU at Midlands Regional Hospital for your care and attention to Gerry.
Thanks to Gerry's nephews Kevin and Aidan and friends Shane and Noel who provided the music in the church and graveside it was very moving and special.
