 Gerry (Gerard) Cromwell

Drogheda, Meath / Ardcath, Meath

The family of the late Gerry Cromwell, Hazel Lane, Bryanstown, Co. Meath, who passed away peacefully on 21st October 2021, would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss. We greatly appreciate the phone calls, messages, Mass Cards, letters, flowers and condolences on RIP.ie. Our sincere thanks to Dr. Hughes and all the staff (particularly on the Beech Unit) of Gormanston Wood Nursing Home for the wonderful care and kindness shown to Gerry during his short time there.

Thank you to Fr Tony Gavin for such a lovely Mass and Annie Powderly for the beautiful music. We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to all those you came out to show their respect along the route, from Gerry's home to the church, we were overwhelmed. Thanks to the members of St Vincents GFC who formed a Guard of Honour from the church to the graveyard.  Thank you also to neighbours and Gerry's large circle of friends who supported us since his passing.

Thank you to The Glenside Hotel for the fabulous meal and excellent service. Thank you to Paddy Townley and Sons Funeral Directors who took care of everything from the moment of our first contact with them. They made a special effort to give Gerry the best send-off he deserved. It's greatly appreciated.

Gerry will be deeply and sadly missed and will always be remembered. As it is impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our heartfelt appreciation. The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intensions. Gerry's Months Mind Mass will be held on 20th November at 6.30pm in St Mary's Church, Ardcath.
