MCBRIDE, Gerry – 7 Ashgrove Park, Omagh, Co. Tyrone
We, the family of the late Gerry McBride who passed away on the 2 September 2023, wish to express our sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement.
Our heartfelt thanks to family, friends and neighbours who called at our home; to those who sent Mass and sympathy cards, letters and messages; to those who contacted us by phone and to those who made donations in lieu of flowers to SMA Fathers.
Special thanks to all the medical staff in the Coronary Care Unit and Ward 22 of Altnagelvin Area Hospital who provided Gerry with excellent care and attention during his brief illness, and to all the staff at the Grange Family Practice for their support over the years.
We wish to pass on our thanks to all those who brought gifts of food and helped at Gerry’s wake; to Charles Lynch, Funeral Director, Castlederg for his compassion and professionalism and to our neighbours Victor, Chris, James and Oonagh for their help and support.
We sincerely thank all who participated in Gerry’s Requiem Mass - Fr Michael McCaul for leading the Mass and for his beautiful words; the concelebrants Fr Brian O’Kane and Fr Peter O’Kane; St Eugene’s Band who welcomed Gerry into the church and bid him farewell as he left; Paul and Bronagh for the beautiful music and singing and Gerry’s good friends Shay and Ronnie who paid their own personal tributes at the graveside.
We hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our appreciation.
