Joe’s son Angelo, daughters Yvonne & Lisa & all his family wish to extend their most heartfelt thanks for the many expressions of sympathy & support they received at the time of Joe’s sad passing & in the weeks since.
To those who called to our home, attended Joe’s funeral Mass & burial & equally to those who were unable to attend due to restrictions, but took the time to phone, text, send Mass & sympathy cards & to share lovely messages & memories online, we are most grateful. Thank you to those who donated generously to www.wexfordhospice.ie in Joe’s memory & to those who sent such beautiful floral tributes.
A special thank you to our neighbours & friends who lined the route of Joe’s final journey & to our fellow business owners on Slaney Street who stood out to honour him – Joe would have been so touched.
Our sincere thanks to the many people who helped care for Joe throughout his final months; Dr Mairead Kelly, the doctors, nurses & staff of Ely Hospital, Wexford & Waterford General Hospital & the Palliative Care Team at Wexford Hospice.
Thanks to Fr Odhran Furlong for your friendship, your prayers & for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass & to Rachel Reid for such wonderful music.
Thanks also to Bill & Joe for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Joe’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated this Sunday 6th June at 12 noon in St Aidan’s Cathedral, Enniscorthy & those who cannot attend are welcome to join via the parish webcam
