As we approach the 1st anniversary of Greg's sudden passing; his wife Claire, his children Matthew, Lee & Chantelle, Greg's brothers John & Harry and extended family would like to sincerely thank everyone who has supported us in our bereavement. 

Thank you to our wonderful friends, neighbours and everyone that called to our home with food, refreshments, cards and flowers. Words cannot express our thanks to our neighbours Cynthia, Eddie and Pat who rushed to help Greg. For your efforts, we are forever grateful. Thank you to the emergency services, paramedics and ambulance crew for their professionalism and compassion. 

To everyone that attended Greg's removal, funeral mass and in particular, those who participated in the mass, carried Greg's coffin and led guards of honour, as well as those who travelled to be with us; as a family we appreciated it so much. Thank you to John Keohane funeral home for their kind, sensitive and professional handling of arrangements. Thanks to Fr. Charlie, our Lady Crowned Church and to Jessica who sang so beautifully. Thanks also to the Island Crematorium. 

Throughout our bereavement, we have met people we didn't know but who remembered Greg so fondly from school, work and the sports clubs Greg was involved in. From St. Vincent's GAA club where Greg started his love of Hurling and Football, to Greenmount Rangers where he spent many a happy hour. It warmed our hearts to hear new stories and to know how highly regarded Greg was as a "sound fella".

A special acknowledgment to Greg's colleagues in DePuy. Thank you for such a poignant tribute on Greg's final journey. To management for all their help and support and to Greg's pals in the foundry; a very special bunch who Greg was blessed to work with. Also thanks to Google, G.E Healthcare and St. Patricks college for your compassion and understanding. Thanks to Mayfield GAA club for facilitating us after the funeral. 

As we continue to navigate our way without Greg, we say a heartfelt thank you for helping us through our darkest days.

Greg's 1st Anniversary mass is on Wednesday 8th May at 9.30am in Our Lady Crowned Church, Mayfield. All welcome.
