Har’s wife Shelia, sons Ronald & Colm, daughter Karen, brother Brendan, sisters Rita & Ann & all his extended family wish to express our most sincere thanks for the support & kindness shown to us at the time of Har’s sad passing & in the weeks since.

To those who called to pay your respects, we thank you. Equally thank you to the many family & friends who couldn’t be present but joined in the celebration of Har’s life via webcam, sent letters, Mass cards & donated generously to the Arklow Cancer Support Group in his memory. To those of you who wrote such wonderful messages of condolence & shared such happy thoughts & memories of Har online we cannot thank you enough. He would have been so touched & so proud.

A heartfelt thanks to our neighbours & friends in Abbeyville who stood out to honour Har’s final journey. Albeit at a safe distance, your kindness & support brought comfort & solace to us all.

Our eternal gratitude to the kind & caring staff of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross for the dignity & gentle care you brought to Har’s final weeks & your consideration towards our family in such difficult circumstances. Our thanks also to Dr. Anne-Marie O’Farrell’s Surgery & to the team at Adrian Dunne Pharmacy.

To our own extended families, our colleagues & friends & to Har’s former colleagues, teammates & many friends, the kindness, thoughtfulness, support & respect shown to us & to Har’s memory will never be forgotten.

Many thanks to Fr David Brough for your prayers, guidance & beautiful funeral Mass & to Lucy Carolan & Rosarie Kinsella for such lovely music.

Thanks also to Bill & Joe from RSS for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.

We trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

Har’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, 7th March, at 11.30am in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church & all are welcome to join via the parish webcam.
