The family of the late Harry Kelly of Meadowview, Drogheda (formerly of Shotts, Scotland) who died on 17th January 2021, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathized with them on their loss.
We offer our deepest thanks to the many family, friends, colleagues, neighbours and well-wishers who attended the service and burial and provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who telephoned, sent floral tributes, cards, letters and messages of condolences, we are truly grateful. We would equally like to thank all those who joined us online for Harry’s funeral service.
Thank you to Father Declan Brennan for the beautiful ceremony and to The Lourdes Band Quartet, Amie Dyer and David Leddy for the wonderful, heartfelt music.
A special word of thanks to The Lourdes Brass Band for their participation in the mass, guard of honour, musical and written tributes and their immeasurable and continued support to the Kelly family.
Thanks also to the broader Irish and international banding community for their warm and reflective tributes to Harry, particularly; Mullingar Town Band, Clondalkin Youth Band, Ardee Concert Band, and Shotts St.Patricks Brass Band and to all those who expressed how he touched their lives through music.
Our thanks to the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda who cared for Harry, and Townley funeral directors for the professional and sensitive handling of the funeral arrangements.
To those who helped in any way, we are very grateful for your support. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
