Acknowledgement and First Anniversary

On this the First Anniversary of Helen’s passing, we her family, husband Anthony, daughter Laura, sons Kevin and Eoin, sisters Mary O’Donoghue and Paschaline McCarthy, son-in-law John Power, uncle Jim Linehan and extended family, wish to thank all those who helped us through the last year.

To those who showed their sympathy by lining the roads in Conna, those who sent condolences through RIP.ie, those who sent Mass cards, beautifully written letters of sympathy and flowers we are very grateful. We know that many of you would have liked to attend Helen’s funeral. However, due to restrictions this was not possible. We appreciate the efforts you took to show how much you cared for our beloved Helen. To V. Rev. Fr. Billy O’Donovan who officiated at Helen’s funeral Mass we thank you most sincerely for your kind and meaningful words. To Helen’s great friends, especially Mary Mulcahy, thank you for the support you gave Helen during her illness. To our very kind neighbours, friends and relations who helped us around the time of Helen’s death and through this year we will be forever thankful.

To the doctors and nurses of University Hospital Limerick, Bon Secours Hospital Cork and Marymount University Hospice Cork who cared for Helen during her illness, we thank you most sincerely for the care you gave Helen and the compassion shown to us during that very difficult time. We would also like to thank James Ronayne Funeral Director for his sensitivity and professionalism. It was greatly appreciated.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Helen’s Anniversary Mass will be streamed on Sunday, 28th March, at 10.00am by Fr. Billy O’Donovan on the YouTube channel of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, Conna.
