Helen Martin of Lattylanigan, Carrickmacross, sadly and unexpectedly passed away at her home on Saturday 18th September 2021. Helen’s children, Dermot and Adriana, wish to acknowledge the kindness, love and support received at the time of, and in the weeks that followed their mam’s death.
A special thank you to Uncle Steve and Auntie Helen for looking after us.
To everyone who visited us, phoned us, fed us and displayed so many acts of kindness, thank you all so much.
To all the people who attended the funeral home, who lined the funeral route from Lonergan’s Funeral Home to St. Joseph’s Church, who attended the funeral Mass or watched via the webcam and who lined the route from St. Joseph’s Church to mam’s final resting place beside our dad.
To everyone who wrote messages of condolence and support and who sent Mass cards.
Thank you to our friends and teachers from the Patrician Brothers High School and Scoil Rois for the Guard of Honour.
To Msgr Shane McCaughey for celebrating mam’s funeral Mass. To the readers, Aidan Campbell, Chris Malone, Gill O’Gorman and Kathleen Ryan. To Tom Clarke, Kate Clarke, Padraig O’Reilly, Nicole Martin and Charlene Martin for the lovely music.
To Catriona and Padraig Lonergan for their professionalism and kindness during this time. Everything went smoothly due to their attention to detail and we couldn’t have arranged mam’s funeral without them. Also, thank you to everyone involved in preparing mam’s final resting place.
So many people, including some we had never met before, have been so kind to us, however, as it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our gratitude.
Most of you will know that we moved to the Isle of Man and a Memorial Mass will be arranged by us in 2022, when we hope to be able to attend St Joseph’s Church in person.
