ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Henry Conway, 64 Main Street, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan
Henry’s mother Rita, his sisters Marie, Fiona, Anita, Edel and extended family would like to express our deepest appreciation for everyone’s sympathy and support on the sudden loss of Henry.
We would especially like to thank everyone who visited the funeral home, telephoned and sent messages of support, gave gifts of food, Mass Cards and attended the funeral and to all those who travelled long distances. Our very special thanks to our wonderful relatives, friends and neighbours and particularly Henry’s friends, and most especially his Community Cenacolo family in both Knock, Co. Mayo and Saluzzo, Italy. We deeply appreciate your presence and thoughts and the beautiful memories of Henry you shared, which gave comfort and helped ease our heavy burden.
A special word of thanks to Henry’s dear friend Fr. Adrian Crowley, our cousin Fr. Eamonn Conway and Msgr. Shane McCaughey for con-celebrating a beautiful funeral Mass, and for officiating at the graveside. We were so privileged to have the beautiful voices of Liebe Kelly, Patrice Doherty and Henry himself.
As a family, we were so touched and would like to express our gratitude to all the people of Carrick who lined the streets to pay such a dignified tribute to Henry. Many thanks also to the Carrick Chamber of Commerce who escorted Henry on his final trip on Main Street to St. Joseph’s Church.
We would like to convey our heartfelt thanks to Don Andrea (Cenacolo Italy), Mary Lou McDonald, David McGowan (Undertaker, Sligo) and Gráinne Teefy for the exceptional lengths they went to in bringing Henry safely home to us.
To Caitríona, Padraig and Séamus at Lonergan’s Funeral Directors - your guidance, support, kindness and outstanding professionalism was very deeply appreciated. Thank you also to the sacristan and gravediggers.
A final thank you to all who made a donation to Community Cenacolo who are solely funded by charitable donations.
As we feel it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our enormous appreciation and thanks. The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Henry’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated by his dear friend, Fr. Declan Lohan, on Saturday 13th November at 6 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross.
