Ian Baitson,
Newtown Road, Cobh, Co. Cork
Acknowledgement and 1st Anniversary
We think of things you used to
say and all that you would do.
At some point every single day
our thoughts will turn to you.
No matter how life changes, no
matter what we do, a special place
within our hearts is always kept for you.
In loving memory of Ian, whose first anniversary occurs on March 19th 2025.Son of Helen and the late Paul, brother of Richard and loving father to Zoe and Myles. Deeply loved, sadly missed but most importantly always remembered by his close family, relatives and wide circle of friends.
Ian's family would like to thank everyone in the community of Cobh and beyond for their unwavering support, compassion and kindness both at the time of our devastating loss and continued support to this day.
To those of you that were first on the scene with Ian, to the first responders, paramedics and hospital staff at CUH, you gave us the gift of time with Ian.
To the Gardai and other services that have supported us, thank you. To everyone who sent mass cards, messages of condolence and flowers etc, thank you.
We would also like to thank the many friends and family that travelled from far and wide to be with us. It is also important to thank the businesses that kindly donated food- Fitzpatrick's, Glounthaune and Spar, Newtown Road, Cobh.
Thanks to Father Tom and those involved in the beautiful funeral Mass and cremation service that was held in Ringaskiddy to celebrate the loving and vibrant life of our dear Ian.
Lastly, thanks to James Cahill and colleagues for the empathy and professionalism you displayed.
