As we lovingly remember Ita, her husband John, daughters Yvonne, Rebecca, Sharon, Jennifer and extended family wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss.
Our sincere thanks to Ita’s relatives, friends and neighbours who visited and called her, sent Mass Bouquets and flowers during her illness.
We also wish to convey our sincere thanks to all those who called to our home, all those who sent Mass cards, floral tributes, those who attended Ita’s Funeral services and posted condolences on RIP.ie A sincere thank you to those who travelled long distances and to our relatives, kind neighbours, friends and work colleagues who helped and supported us and those who brought food and refreshments.
We would like to thank the clinical team in the Mater Private Hospital, Cork, Prof. Seamus O’Reilly, Mr. Tom Murphy and their respective teams in Cork University Hospital and Mercy University Hospital who looked after Ita with great care and compassion. A special word of thanks to the staff of St. Camillus, St. Anthony’s Wards, the Chaplain and the Pastoral care team in the Mercy University Hospital. Thank you to Dr. Shahram Bajwa and the staff of West Beach Surgery, Cobh and to the staff at Newtown Pharmacy, Cobh. Thank you to the HSE home support team especially Mary Greaney and the staff of Marymount University Hospital who provided support to Ita and our family.
Many thanks to Fr. Aquin Casey for his support and for celebrating Ita’s funeral services together with Fr. John Ryan, also to Dominic Finn and John Daly for the beautiful Church music.

Ita’s First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Sunday June 23rd at 12pm in St. Coleman’s Cathedral, Cobh
