Acknowledgement and First Anniversary
As we lovingly remember Jack on his first anniversary, we, his family, wish to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to everyone who helped us cope with our sad and sudden loss. We wish to thank especially the extended O’Callaghan and Twohig families who provided us with extraordinary practical and emotional support for which we are so grateful. Sincere thanks to our many loyal and newfound friends, to our neighbours, to everyone who helped us in Lanzarote, those who provided care, support, food and practical assistance on our return home, those who attended the funeral home and Requiem Mass, those who called in person and by phone, those who sent letters, those who left online condolences, floral wreaths, and all who helped in any way during this very difficult time. A special word of thanks to Fr.Ó hIcí for a lovely Mass, to Aoife, Paul, and Eleanor for the beautiful music and singing, to sacristan Mary O’Callaghan, MTU chaplain Fr. David McCauliffe and all those who helped to make the Mass very meaningful for all. To Crowley Funeral Homes for their support and assistance with the arrangements for Jack’s return home. Please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
As it is impossible to mention all who have helped us at this time and have continued to provide us with the best of care and help throughout this very difficult past year, a Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
Jack, you left too soon, your loss is great, but your bright light still lives on
Jack’s first anniversary Mass will be in Ovens Church on Sunday, February 12th, at 11.30 a.m.
