 Jackie Doyle

Croghan Heights, Arklow, Wicklow

Jackie’s daughter Stefanie, son in law Brian, grandsons Ross & Noah, his sisters Dorothy, Julie and Patricia, his brothers Philip and Brendan and his extended family wish to express their sincere thanks for the kindness and support shown to them throughout their recent sad loss.

A special thank you to Tony and Deirdre Breslin for all their help, kindness and support, as friends and neighbours, over the years and especially when Jackie was ill.

Our most sincere thanks to the consultants, doctors and nurses in ICU in St. Vincent’s University Hospital, and Loughlinstown Hospital, for the care and compassion they showed towards Jackie and his family during his very short illness.

Thank you to Fr Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for visiting Jackie in hospital and for his prayers, guidance and beautiful funeral Mass.  To Michael Flood and Patricia Kavanagh for the lovely music and songs.

Thank you to everyone who visited the Funeral Home, and to all those who attended Jackie’s removal, Funeral Mass and burial, and to those who travelled long distances. Thank you to those who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, texts, those who phoned, those who wrote or shared kind condolences and happy memories online.  Thanks also to those who couldn’t be present but joined in the celebration of Jackie’s life via the webcam.

Thank you to Jackie’s second family, Arklow Town Football Club, for their support to the family, for his final send off in Lamberton and for their Guard of Honor.

To our extended families, our work Colleagues, especially Stefanie’s AIB work colleagues, our neighbours and friends, your continued support and kindness is greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten.

Thanks to Arklow Town Football Club for their hospitality and to everyone who so kindly sent food to our home and the Funeral Home.

Thank you to Jason and Tom for attending to the grave.

To Hudson Funeral Directors, especially Helena, for her compassion, guidance, professionalism and kindness at this most difficult and heartbreaking time.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Jackie’s month’s mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 9th August at 6.30pm in The Church of Saints Mary & Peter, Arklow.
