The family of the late James (Jimmy) Butler, formerly of Ballycashin, Butlerstown and 1 Roanmore Park, who died on 12th April 2021, wish to express our deep gratitude to all who supported and sympathised with us on our sad loss.
From his wife Eileen, sons Shane, Kevin and Stephen, daughters Susan, Sinead and Louise, his sister Peggy Butler (Roanmore), his brother Paddy (Australia), sons in law, daughter in law and grandchildren, we offer our heartfelt thanks to our extended family, friends and neighbours who lined the roads of Roanmore Park and Ballycashin and to those who stood socially distanced at Butlerstown Church or watched online. Thank you to everyone who sent Mass cards, expressed their condolences online and the many messages and phone calls received. It would be impossible to thank everyone individually. Please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
To Father Pat Fitzgerald for the lovely Mass and kind words and Glenn Murphy for the beautiful music.
To all at Thompson's Funeral Directors, Barrack Street and The Island Crematorium, Cork, for their support and professional handling of the arrangements during this difficult time.
A special word of thanks to all the nurses and staff of Orthopedic 1 in University Hospital Waterford for their kindness and compassion, where Jimmy passed away peacefully.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
