We, the family of the late James Hogan wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to those who supported and sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.

Thank you to all who attended the wake and funeral or joined us through the webcam.

Heartfelt gratitude to Jacqueline Smith, community celebrant, for the most beautiful and fitting funeral mass, which will always bring us such comfort in the years to come.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to William Ryan and Sons funeral directors for their exceptional guidance and care during this difficult time.

We are so appreciative of all those who gave mass and sympathy cards, sent messages or paid lovely tributes online.

Thank you to all who travelled long distances, gave gifts of food, flowers or donated money in lieu of Irish Cancer Society. Also sincere thanks to Murphy’s bar and lounge, Kilcock for their hospitality. It was truly appreciated.

Sincere thanks to our extended family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues who have been so supportive and continue to do so at this most difficult time.

We are immensely grateful to Kilcock GAA for providing parking.

We are deeply grateful to Kilcock Celtic Football Club for honouring James with a guard of honour on his final journey. Sincere thanks to Jill for organising it. The kindness shown by the coaches and young people, was truly uplifting.

We especially would like to thank Aileen, Katie, Dr Ruth and David from Clares ward for their exceptional care of James. We also extend our sincere gratitude to Nurse’s Lily and Jenny, Sinead, Andrea, Aisling and Fiona on the oncology day ward, your compassion, dedication and willingness to go above and beyond will always be remembered with deep appreciation. 

Our final thanks go to James’ friends and work colleagues, for the support they gave him during his illness. He was so appreciative of the many messages, phone calls, which he enjoyed.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our deepest gratitude. Thank you to everyone for your love, support, kindness and prayers at this very sad time.

James’ months mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 13th September at 6pm in St Cocas Church, Kilcock.

All are warmly welcome.
