James (Jim) Moore

 James (Jim) Moore

Avoca, Wicklow

Jim’s children John, Pat, Noel, Therese, Thomasina, Gemma & Serena, his brother Dinny & all his family wish to express their sincere thanks for the many ways in which they were supported through this recent difficult time.

Thank you to everyone who called to our home, to those who attended Jim’s funeral Mass & burial, those who sent Mass cards, those who phoned, wrote or text, those who shared kind condolences & fond memories online & all those who couldn’t be present but joined in the celebration of Jim’s life via webcam.

Our heartfelt thanks Eimear, Mairead & Orla who assisted our family in caring for Jim in the home he loved & for the wonderful palliative care team who brought such comfort & dignity to his final days. Thank you also to the kind & helpful staff of Avoca Pharmacy.

A very special thank you to Fr. Michael Murphy for his prayers & lovely funeral Mass, to the team in the sacristy & to Michael Flood & Patricia Kavanagh for providing such beautiful music.

To our extended families & our kind neighbours & friends, your continued support is deeply appreciated.

Thank you to the management & staff of The Woodenbridge Hotel for their hospitality, to Jason & Tom for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney and Sons Funeral Directors.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Jim’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 7th December at 11.30am in St. Joseph’s Church, Templerainey. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam;
