ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND MONTHS MIND

Jim’s wife Kathleen, sons and daughters John, Joanne, James, Michael and Catherine, together with Jim’s brothers and sisters, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement. Thank you to all those who visited our home, attended the funeral home, requiem mass and burial, those who sent mass cards, text messages, sympathy cards, letters of sympathy, those who left beautiful messages of condolences on rip and those who travelled from far and near.

We would like to especially thank Dr. Walsh’s and staff at Northgate Medical Centre, and the staff at Sam McCauley’s, South Street, with a very special mention to Jim’s grandchild Rachel who cared and looked after him for the last 6 months.  A very special thank you to Fr. Joe McGrath, P.P, for celebrating the funeral mass and to Fr Tom Orr, C.C. and  Fr Sean Devereux, P.P for their prayerful support, to Stephen Murphy for enhancing the funeral mass with his music, to Brendan Murphy and staff at The Horse and Hound for providing a beautiful meal, and to The Rathgarogue/Cushinstown GAA for honouring Jim with a Guard of Honour, thank you to Joanne Cooney and staff for their wonderful care and professionalism.

We owe a debt of gratitude to all our relatives, great friends and neighbours who supported and helped us in every way possible. Their outstanding kindness and generosity will always be remembered and appreciated. We received goodness and kindness from so many, it’s impossible to name everyone, but we as a family will be eternally grateful for your support and friendships.

As we cannot thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Jim’s months mind mass will take place on Sunday, February 25th at 10am in The Church of St. Anne and St. John, Rathgarogue.
