We the family of the late Jimmy Ahearne, would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who sympathized with us on our sad loss.
We extend our thanks and appreciation to our extended family, friends and neighbours who helped us celebrate Dad's long life.
A special word of thanks to the Palliative Care Team, Dr Colwall and all the team of nurses and doctors in South Tipperary University Hospital, doctors and nurses in Waterford University Hospital and nursing staff team in St Patrick's Assessment Unit in Cashel for taking special care of Dad.
A special word of thanks also to staff members and Board of Management in Clonmel Credit Union who did a guard of honour for Dad on his final journey to St Mary's. We really appreciated the kind gesture.
Thank you to Condons Funeral Home and also the grave diggers in St Patrick’s Cemetery for their professionalism and attention to detail.
Finally, thanks to Fr Billy Meehan, Fr John Nally and the priests of the parish for all their help and kindness. Also thank you to St Mary's senior choir, organist Eileen Murray and soloist Roisin Dempsey.
We trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for you all.
Jimmy’s month's mind Mass will be held in St Mary’s Church, Irishtown, Clonmel, on Wednesday, February 15th at 7pm.
