Jimmy’s sister Noeline, his nephew Daniel and nieces Cheryl, Róisín, Siobhan, Kate and Aideen, and all of his extended family would like to extend their most sincere thanks for the many expressions of sympathy and support shown to them throughout Jimmy’s passing and during the time since.
Thank you to all who visited the funeral home and those who attended Jim’s funeral Mass and burial. Thank you to those who sent Mass cards and those who conveyed such warm wishes and fond memories online, those who phoned or texted and all those who couldn’t be present but joined us via the church webcam. Thank you also to those who may have donated to St Francis’ Hospice in his memory and that of his late wife, Bernie.
Our most heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses & caring staff of Beaumont Hospital for their wonderful care for Jimmy and their kindness to us all during the last weeks of Jimmy’s life.
Warmest thanks to Fr. Vasyl Kornitsky for celebrating such a moving funeral Mass, and to the members of O’Toole’s GAA Club and the members of Cumann Gaolta 1916 for turning out to honour Jimmy. Thanks also to Pipe Major Anthony Byrne, and to Deirdre Doyle for her very beautiful singing during the service.
To Jimmy’s neighbours and many great friends, your support for him will never be forgotten.
Our sincere thanks to all at Jennings Funeral Services, whose support and professionalism was invaluable.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Jim’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 9th March at 12.00 in Our Lady of Consolation Church, Donnycarney. Jimmy’s late wife Bernie will also be remembered at this mass, to mark the occasion of her 25th anniversary.
