 Jean Kinsella
(née Burford)

The Four Courts & formerly of Thomastown, Arklow, Wicklow

Jean’s daughter Stella would like to express her heartfelt thanks for the kindness & consideration shown to her at the time of her mum’s sad passing & in the weeks since.

Thank you to neighbours & friends from The Four Courts & Thomastown for their friendship & kindness to Mum, especially in the years since Dad passed away.

To those who gathered at the Church & those who attended the graveside, albeit at a safe distance, I am most grateful for your support. Equally, to those who couldn’t be present but sent beautiful cards, letters & wonderful floral tributes that Mum would have loved, those who wrote touching messages & shared happy memories online & to all those who joined in the celebration of Mum’s life via livestream, your love & support was felt & brought me much comfort.

Special thanks to Dr Coates & the team at Arklow Medical Practice & to the Tyrrell family & their wonderful staff at Asgard Lodge Nursing Home for their great care throughout the past few years & for the peace of mind given to me in knowing that Mum was being looked after with such dignity, kindness & compassion in the comfort of a loving home.

My sincere thanks to Fr. David Brough for his prayers, words of comfort & beautiful funeral Mass, to Liz Power for preparing St. David’s Church & to Karla Treacy & Bridget Kenny for their fabulous music.

Thanks also to Bill & Joe from R.S.S. for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors who arranged & conducted a most beautiful & dignified funeral for Mum & who guided me through every step with kindness & professionalism.

Mum’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Mother’s Day, Sunday 14th March at 11.30am in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church & all are welcome to join via the parish webcam;
