The family of the late Jean Ross (née McKay) of Termonfeckin who died on 9th February 2022 would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their great loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to the dear friends, neighbours and former students of Jean who have sent their kind words of sympathy and shared their touching memories of a true lady.  For those  who were able to visit Jean at rest, to attend the funeral or made charitable donations to the RNLI, we are truly grateful. We extend a special word of thanks to Jean’s close friends Matt and Melissa Kealy for taking care of funeral arrangements at what was  an extremely sad time for them also.

To the staff and nurses of Sunhill Nursing Home we extend a special word of thanks for their kindness, respect and ingenuity when caring for Jean during the difficult circumstances of the last couple of years. We thank Fr. Clayton Lea for leading the service with compassion, and finally everyone at P.Townley & Sons for their professionalism and sensitivity as Jean’s ‘life is rounded with a sleep’.
