Acknowledgement & 1st Anniversary

As we lovingly remember Miah on his first anniversary, his wife Michelle and daughter Anna and family we wish to thank most sincerely all those who supported and sympathised with us on our tremendous loss. 
We offer heartfelt thanks to all who attended Miah's Removal, Funeral Mass and Burial, sent Mass cards, wrote letters of sympathy and sent flowers, we were truly overwhelmed by your kind words.  We thank our family and friends for their help and support to myself and Anna along this difficult road.
Thank you to the staff of CUH, Marymount Hospice, the Irish Cancer Society, Mellericks Pharmacy and Arc House for your care, kindness and support.
A special thank you to both Buttevant and Kildorrery GAA clubs and the wider community who formed a Guard of Honour for Miah.
To Fr. Eugene Baker and Fr. Sean Dunne for celebrating Miah's Mass and also for your kindness and support. To all who contributed to Miah's Funeral Mass to make it so special, thank you. To Hannon's Funeral Directors for their support and professionalism. 
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.

Miah's first anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 14th December at 6.30pm in St Mary's Church, Buttevant.

In this special message, it's sad to say but true,
That our lives changed forever Miah, 
When we said “Goodbye” to you.
As short as your life was, though very much a blessing,
Your memory we will treasure, 
You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

Missed in the morning of every day,
Missed in the evening as light fades away,
Missed in a thousand and one little ways,
Around every corner a memory stays.
No one knows, the pain I bear,
When we all meet and you’re not there,
We talk, we laugh, we play our part,
But behind it all lies my broken heart.
You gave me years of happiness,
Then sorrow came with tears,
You left us lovely memories,
We will treasure through the years.
