The family of Jerry Ryan (Big Jer), Inch, Milestone, Thurles, Co Tipperary, wish to thank everyone who sympathised with us on the loss of our dear father on 12th June 2020.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to extended family, friends and neighbours who visited the house, sent cards, expressed their sympathies and for the love and support shown to us during this difficult time. For those who telephoned, texted, sent floral tributes and messages of condolences on RIP.ie we are truly grateful.

Equally, to those who could not attend in light of government restrictions we thank you for your kind expressions of sympathy.

Words are not enough to thank all the carers and home helps who helped care for Jerry over the past years, your kindness, patience, understanding and generosity will always be remembered.

Thank you to Dr Joan Murphy, the Palliative care team and all the healthcare staff who looked after Jerry’s medical needs.

Thank you to Fr. Dan Woods for his visits with Jerry, for his prayers and funeral service.

Thank you to Joe O’Dwyer Funeral Director for his guidance and professional services.

To all who helped in any way possible your contribution is appreciated. As it is impracticable to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.

The Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated for Jerry on Saturday 25th July 2020 at 8.00pm at St. Patrick’s Church, Kilcommon.
